Historic Old Sacramento Walking Food Tour
This tour takes place in the Old Sacramento Waterfront district on the Sacramento River, featuring Gold Rush-era buildings, cobble stone streets, and horse drawn carriages. You’ll learn about the colorful history of this fascinating district – and the best part is, you get to eat all along the way, with stops at some of the best spots to tantalize your taste buds. The state Railroad Museum and the Sacramento History Museum are also located in this area, as well as numerous souvenir shops, antique stores, boutiques, and old time candy shops. There is ample parking in nearby parking garages.
Midtown Sacramento Walking Food & Art Tour
Midtown Sacramento is the heart of Sacramento’s eclectic food scene, with tree lined streets, street art, and boutiques. On this 2.5 to 3 hour culinary tour, you may taste Thai or Korean food, Spanish Tapas, trendy ‘hot chicken’, Mediterranean delights, low country Southern dishes, world class sweets, and enjoy three to four small plates selected just for you. Along the way, you will see some of Sacramento’s best street art. The tour happily accommodates dietary needs such as vegan, vegetarian, gluten free, and allergies. Enjoy an afternoon discovering and tasting the beautiful Capay Valley. The tour includes wine tasting at a Capay Valley Winery; a wood-fired pizza; a lavender farm visit with lavender infused treats; olive oil, vinegar and honey tasting; and a glass of wine with charcuterie. The Capay Valley is an undiscovered gem in Yolo County, just an hour west of Sacramento. Sept 7-23 Raise a Fork (or a Glass) to the Sacramento Region! Visit Sacramento’s Farm-to-Fork Festival events were created as a celebration of the region’s incredible food and agriculture, and a chance to introduce people to the chefs, farmers, ranchers, vintners and brewers who are bringing delicious food and drinks to our table every day. Since 2013, the Farm-to-Fork events have become some of the country’s most anticipated food and music festivals and culinary experiences, drawing thousands of visitors from across the country and around the world.

Sept 23 Get ready for a night of food, live music, dancing, and good times under the stars. Presented by the Lincoln Area Chamber of Commerce, Taste of Lincoln Showcase returns to Beermann Plaza for its 21st annual local celebration. For many local area residents, Taste of Lincoln Showcase is the highlight event of the year and a wonderful kickoff to the Autumn season. Taste your way around Downtown Lincoln while enjoying a selection of delicious bites, cold brews, and local wines. Dozens of local vendors will be serving up what is sure to be an epic event!
